The campaign manager oversees the day-to-day aspects of the campaign. The attributes of a good campaign manager are 1) excellent organizational skills; 2) good with people; 3) unafraid
to ask volunteers for help or to follow-up and collect on promised donations; 4) loyalty to the candidate.
The first thing a campaign manager should always do it look to take work away from the candidate so he can spend time doing only those things a candidate can do (i.e. ask for large
donations, attend events, go door-to-door). The main responsibility of a campaign manager, the role that will use more time than any other, is managing volunteers.
